- Kapitel 47 -

Clap your hands, all you nations

To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce.

For the Lord is high, and a great King ouer all the earth.

He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.

Hee hath chosen our inheritance for euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. Selah.

God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet.

Sing prayses to God, sing sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses.

For God is the King of all the sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding.

God reigneth ouer the God sitteth vpon his holy throne.

The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of for the shields of the world belong to he is greatly to be exalted.

Clap your hands, all you nations

Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

For the LORD Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.

He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

Sing praises to God! Sing praises! Sing praises to our King! Sing praises!

For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.

God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!
